    • When battery provides high discharge current, it will generate lot of heat, the battery holders will keep single cells separate.
    • For big heavy batteries, the holders can help to maintain pack structure. So the force will not pass to the soldering points on the nickel tabs, to avoid broken soldering points on the pack.
